How to use the catalog
When you see a new story type in the feed:
- Read the title for the pattern.
- Read the summary for the implication.
- Inspect the evidence notes for the graph shape you should expect.
- Open the relevant guide if you need deeper workflow context.
- Ask whether the story is about a single event, a repeated pattern, or part of a broader campaign.
The goal is to move from label → meaning → proof as quickly as possible.
Story families
E3D story types are grouped into a few broad families:
- Rabbit forensics — structure-first graph findings like loops, clusters, mirrors, and staging
- Market/activity — price, volume, liquidity, discovery, and rotation signals
- Risk/confirmation — manipulation, liquidity, or validation signals that help separate noise from signal
Rabbit forensics stories
These stories are the most investigation-centric. They tend to describe graph shapes, wallet interactions, and structural relationships rather than just market outcomes.
Rabbit Thesis
- What it is: A bundled intelligence brief that combines multiple rabbit findings into one narrative.
- Why it matters: Gives you the higher-level explanation once multiple rabbit patterns point at the same entity or time window.
- Evidence shape: Expect a synthesis of several graph patterns, often centered around the same token or wallet cluster.
Rabbit Staging
- What it is: A readiness signal that detects wallets or subgraphs waking up before an on-chain action.
- Why it matters: Often the earliest sign that a larger move is being prepared.

Rabbit Cluster

Rabbit Loop
- What it is: Circular or near-circular recycling paths within a bounded subgraph.

Rabbit Mirror

Market and activity stories
These stories focus more on market behavior than on a single graph motif. They help you understand how capital is moving, what is gaining attention, and whether the move looks organic or manufactured.
Surge
- What it is: A price surge paired with on-chain activity context.
- Why it matters: Separates real participation from thin-liquidity spikes.
- Evidence shape: Price delta plus activity and participation deltas.
Whale Stealth Flow
- What it is: A large-holder movement story with obfuscation or stealth routing characteristics.
- Why it matters: Often an early positioning clue before the market fully reacts.
- Evidence shape: Large wallet flows, repeated counterparties, and meaningful net movement.
Ecosystem Shift
- What it is: Cross-chain day-over-day volume rotation.
- Why it matters: Helps you see capital flowing between ecosystems rather than looking at one chain in isolation.
- Evidence shape: Aggregate chain-level statistics rather than a deep graph.
Bridge Paths
- What it is: Cross-chain movement traces.
- Why it matters: Useful when you need to follow capital as it moves across chains and infrastructure.
- Evidence shape: Multi-hop bridge trails and destination topology.
Discovery
- What it is: A story that surfaces new or unknown contracts with meaningful activity.
- Why it matters: Helps you find early opportunities before a token is broadly labeled.
- Evidence shape: Activity plus identity metadata, usually with graph drilldown available.
Hot Links
- What it is: A token with unusually high transaction activity in a short window.
- Why it matters: Good for rapid triage when you want to know where attention is concentrating.
- Evidence shape: Token-centric activity burst with counterparty expansion.
Category / sector stories
- What it is: Rotation across a token category or cohort.
- Why it matters: Gives a sector lens that is hard to extract from a single token chart.
- Evidence shape: Cohort lists, leaders, and relative momentum.
Risk and confirmation stories
These stories help you decide whether the structure supports the move or warns you away from it.
Liquidity Drain
- What it is: A pool TVL drop that is happening faster than price has fully reflected.
- Why it matters: Often an early warning for rug risk, slippage deterioration, or market-maker exit.
- Evidence shape: TVL snapshots, drop percentages, and pool history.
Exchange Flow
- What it is: Net flow into or out of exchange wallets for a token.
- Why it matters: Exchange inflows can imply sell pressure; outflows can imply accumulation or treasury movement.
- Evidence shape: Net flow direction and magnitude over the lookback window.
Momentum Divergence
- What it is: Price moving one way while fundamentals move the other.
- Why it matters: Classic warning sign that a move may be losing support.
- Evidence shape: Price, user count, volume, and TVL comparison across matched windows.
Wash Trade
- What it is: Artificial volume patterns that look like round-tripping or recycling.
- Why it matters: Lets you discount fake demand and avoid mistaking manufactured liquidity for real interest.
- Evidence shape: Sender/receiver repetition, round-trip ratios, and inflated volume metrics.
Concentration Shift
- What it is: Fast changes in holder concentration, especially top-wallet share.
- Why it matters: Useful for identifying building, distribution, or control shifts.
- Evidence shape: Concentration deltas and the wallets driving them.
Token Quality Score
- What it is: A composite ranking for new or newly surfaced tokens.
- Why it matters: First-pass filter for analyst attention.
- Evidence shape: Score breakdown across liquidity, distribution, security, sell health, and stability.
Smart Money
- What it is: Tokens being accumulated by historically profitable wallets.
- Why it matters: Helps you find candidate trades by watching quality investor behavior.
- Evidence shape: Buyer wallet list, win rate, historical return, and token context.
Stealth Accumulation
- What it is: Many small buys adding up to a coordinated position.
- Why it matters: Helps spot whales splitting size across wallets to stay hidden.
- Evidence shape: Aggregate USD amount, active buyer count, and size ceilings.
Insider Timing
- What it is: Pre-event buying around major announcements or catalysts.
- Why it matters: Useful for building a candidate insider list or monitoring early positioning.
- Evidence shape: Pre-event buying compared to baseline windows.
Volume Profile Anomaly
- What it is: A shift in when and how a token trades, including odd hour-of-day patterns.
- Why it matters: Can signal a new participant base or OTC-like distribution.
- Evidence shape: Histogram shifts, KL divergence, size clustering, and dominant buckets.
Spread Widening
- What it is: Expected slippage worsens faster than trading activity would justify.
- Why it matters: Direct market-depth warning that liquidity is thinning.
- Evidence shape: Current vs prior TVL, slippage ratio, trade activity, and median trade size.
How to read the catalog in practice
When a story appears, ask three questions:
- Is this a structure story, a market story, or a risk story?
- What evidence shape should I expect if the claim is real?
- What follow-up view should I open next: stories, /links, token view, or a thesis?
